Kain Harris Discusses Bradley Visit

Morgan Park 2015 shooting guard Kain Harris is a strong and athletic two guard with good size.  He can shoot it from deep and is fun to watch in transition.  With the graduation of four star seniors for Mustangs after their 3A state title last year, Harris will be a player they look toward to provide scoring punch.

The junior visited Bradley over the weekend and talked with us about the trip.

“When I first got there they took me on a campus tour.  Then I played a few games with the team in open gym.  I got something to eat.  After that I went back to the gym to shoot around.  Then I left.”

What stood out about the Braves?

“Their facility and how it’s open to players at any time.  And how cool the staff is.”

They told him what they believe he could bring to their program.

“My athleticism and my scoring ability.  I can help them turn their program around back to the days when they were good.”

What does he like about the Braves coaching staff?

“They don’t sugar coat anything.  They tell you the truth about things.”

Harris discussed how preparation is going for this upcoming season at Morgan Park and what to expect out of him this season.

“It’s going good.  We’ve been pushing each other each day to get better.  I’m going to show that I can score the ball, defend, and lead my team.  And that I’m the best in the class.”
