Former Thornwood High School star Darell Combs has decided to transfer from Eastern Michigan University.
Combs, a 6'1 guard, is known for his ability to score the basketball. Combs averaged 7.4 points in just over 15 minutes of playing time per contest this past season at Eastern Michigan, which finished with a 22-15 record.
"I am looking for a great relationship with the head coach and somewhere that I can just enjoy myself and at least feel safe. I just want an overall better opportunity," said Combs when asked what he is looking for in a new school.
Combs was a qualifer out of high school but opted to spend his freshman year playing junior college ball at Blinn (TX).
Combs has his release and will have two years of playing eligibility remaining.
